Unilever’s Matt Price joins Lactalis Canada as chief HR officer

Lactalis Canada has appointed former Unilever executive Matt Price as its new chief human resources officer.

Price will lead the dairy company’s over 4,000 employees across Canada including corporate human resources, industrial relations, organizational development, talent acquisition and total rewards.

He joins Lactalis from Unilever, where he worked as SVP, HR, Ice Cream, Americas, leading the HR agenda across North and South America.

Prior to that, Price was the SVP, Food North America and vice president, HR, Eastern Europe, overseeing more than 3,000 employees across 20 countries. 

He has also held senior HR leadership positions at Mars Inc. and GSK in Canada.

With experience in organizational change and growth, labour relations, HR business partnering, talent management and DE&I, Price most recently served as SVP of human resource.
